Great Credence Songs You Might Have Missed

Credence Clearwater Revival had a string of hits in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. During this period, I believe CCR was America’s premier rock and roll band. Although a Bay Area band, CCR was strongly influenced by Southern Rock, Swamp Blues, and Swamp Rock. They never had a #1 hit, but they had a string of #2 hits – Looking Out My Backdoor, Bad Moon Rising, Green River, Proud Mary, Who’ll Stop the Rain, Travelin’ Band, and Long As I Can See the Light. Other great hits were Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Born on the Bayou, Lodi, Fortunate Son, and Suzie Q.
Here’s a few CCR songs that are great songs that never made the top 100.
Bootleg (1969) My favorite CCR Song
Keep on Chooglin’ (1970)
The Night Time is the Right Time (Recorded in 1969 – not sure when this was)
What’s your favorite CCR song?
